About

I’m a little bit Marilyn Monroe and a little bit June Cleaver. A happy housewife with an old soul and a glamour-girl heart!

I’ve been the mechanic’s wife since 2013; we’re the perfect pairing of leather and lace. In December of 2016, we became parents to our beautiful baby girl, who fills our lives with more joy than we had imagined!

I believe beauty starts on the inside and radiates outward. Stress can really take a toll on the appearance of your mind as well as your body. That’s why my beauty blog is a little different than most.

I’m a semi-retired cosmetologist (I even owned my own salon before Hubby and I moved up to Oregon). I now spend my time as a freelance makeup artist, so I do spend a lot of time talking about makeup and sharing tips, because beauty is what I love! To me, it’s art, and it’s a lifestyle for me. But aside from makeup talk, I also give information that I’ve found helpful in keeping my home organized and running smoothly. Organization is another passion of mine and I know that while a lot of people wish to be more organized, it’s really hard to get to that point!
My theory is that if I can help you spend less time on things that need to be done around the house daily, I can help you spend more time doing things you want! Like learning some great new makeup techniques
